How a typical visit goes
You call, describe what the fridge is doing, and we book a window that works for you. On the visit, the tech listens, checks temperatures, pulls the unit if it's a built-in, and tests the parts that usually fail for that symptom. You get a written quote before anything is replaced. If you want to wait or get a second opinion, that's fine — there's no pressure.
Most repairs are single-day. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you the wait time honestly. Built-in compressor parts can take 1–3 business days; common door gaskets, fan motors, control boards, and ice maker assemblies are usually in stock.
What we work on
We focus on refrigerators only. That's the whole job. Within that, we cover:
- Built-in refrigerators — flush units inside cabinetry
- French door refrigerators — two top doors, bottom freezer
- Side-by-side refrigerators — vertical split, water and ice on the door
- Bottom-freezer refrigerators — single fridge door, freezer drawer below
- Counter-depth and column refrigerators
- Standalone freezers
- Ice makers — built-in and undercounter
- Wine coolers and beverage refrigerators
The most common reasons people call
Some symptoms come up over and over. If yours is here, the diagnostic page will give you a real answer about what's likely failing:
Santa Monica condos, apartments, and rentals
A lot of buildings here have rules — service elevators, certificate-of-insurance requests, parking restrictions. Tell us when you call and we'll plan around it. We work with tenants, owners, landlords, and property managers, including in Wilshire-Montana, Ocean Park, North of Montana, Pico District, and the rest of the city.
Pricing and warranty
You get a quote before work starts. We charge a flat diagnostic fee, and that fee goes toward the repair if you approve it. Completed repairs and installed parts carry a 90-day warranty. If the same fault comes back inside that window, we come back at no charge.
Not sure if it's worth fixing? Call and describe the symptoms. For most units under 8–10 years old, repair is the better call. For very old freestanding fridges, sometimes replacement makes sense — we'll say so.
